What is going on with these tests??

Question

First month using these tests (used digital last month).  My cycles are usually 26 days. Last month I had a peak on CD 12 and ovulated CD 13. It’s CD 13 today for me, and these tests are just getting lighter. Anyone have insight on why this might be?

Well to me your tests are still pink which means you aren't letting them dry enough to give you an accurate result

I wonder if you had a start to an LH peak day 10, wasn’t actually ready for ovulation then had a spike on day 12 but just missed it. 
If you check BBT that would help confirm if you’ve ovulated and help you refine your OPK use.
I always check first morning pee from around day 7 then check more often in the day once I see it start to get a bit darker. That way I get a feel for when it’s coming because I struggle to test later in the day routinely due to 13 hour shifts and the fact my urine is normally really dilute. Sometimes I’ve tested 5 times in a day when I’ve seen one like your CD12 and eventually one of them is positive.
The best time of day to test varies by people and circumstances, some have loads of LH and get positives for days which can be just as confusing, some need a more concentrated sample and therefore EMU can play a great role even if it’s not the technical “optimal” time.
