Religion issues.

Has anyone lost their spouse due to religion?

He went into this group it’s called IUIC

“Israel United In Christ”.

My husband considers what he’s doing is not exactly a religion it’s a “nationality”. He’s considered a “Hebrew Israelite” that’s not the problem.

He’s taking this super serious that he wears fringes on his clothes, doesn’t celebrate NOTHING except the things in the Bible. No American holidays. He isolates himself from all my family and his! To him everything region is wrong, Catholicism, Christianity, etc..

its all wrong. He bashes them, and people that believe in them.

He HAS to follow the Sabbath, meaning he can’t do a damn thing Friday evening to Saturday evening. He tells me he’s okay with losing his family and me if it means he gets to have eternal life. I just wish he’d see how he sounds on my end. Maybe I’m over exaggerating or hating?

We don’t even really go out, or joke around anymore.. he’s super serious, stern, and josh this cold person toward me. He’s just become this unemotionally available person and it’s taking its toll.

He gets mad that I don’t want to go anymore. When i went I had to wrap my hair and wear a long dress because it’s considered “modest”. The men and women sit on separate sides of the building. Not hating but it wasn’t my cup of tea.

I really don’t know anymore. I just want my husband back and I don’t know what to do.

Him getting out is not an option at all.

Any advice?
