Is there any fix for ripped jeans with tight rips?

Sorry if the question is worded weird. I know I could just return them for a size up, but I ordered online from Fashion Nova and I’m in Ontario, Canada and it already cost $40 for shipping plus the conversion from us to American so I’m not really wanting to spend more to return them since I’ll have to pay shipping myself.

But anyways I got a size 15 and I’m usually a 14 in other brands. The jeans fit but the issue I’m having is the threads across the rips are tight so it’s squeezing my legs and making me look like a dough boy😂😩😅 I guess my best bet would be to start running or something😂
