My love story PART 2

Here's the rest of it!

I ran to get in and we took off! Our hearts were beating out of our chests. He drove the back roads to his house and we got inside quickly. We showered and headed for the bedroom. It was a steamy evening filled with cuddling and playing. It ended with us curled up in bed being so thanking God I got away. A couple hours later, my parents arrived at Chris' and were demanding to know where I was. Chris lied saying i wasn't here and that he'd been at the bar most of the day and then home. Of course they didnt believe him, but they left after he told them to get off his property only to come back hours later with the police. They questioned me and left a while later seeing no harm. We were both legal adults. Our pastor got involved and became the go between for information for my mom. The next night the police came again. My mom got me court ordered to get me checked out at the hospital. My first time in a police car too! I got there and my mom and sister were in the waiting room. I ignored them for as long as I could before they came up to me and wanted to talk. I gave in seeing what a mess they were. They brought a bag with shampoo and everything ready for me to stay at the hospital for a few days since my mom had insisted on mandated three day stay. What was funny though is I was evaluated by three nurses, two doctors and a lady who works in the psych ward and none of them seen any cause to keep me. I arrived there about 11:00pm and was released at 5:30 am. My mom even asked to have her go back with me to make sure everything was explained to the doctors correctly to which I said I was fine and could explain it myself. She also made sure to tell me to add them to the visitor list so they could visit me the next day. I called Chris when I got released and by 8:30 I had a ride home. So now its Monday and I was able to chill at his house for the rest of the day. By Tuesday, a couple from my church came to get me to another's house because they got word my mom was going to stop by the house. I guess she was shocked to hear i had been released. I spent Tuesday night at a friend's house and Wednesday morning a couple from our church headed off to Florida with me to take me to my aunt down there. It was a two day journey. My mom already had another court order written up for me but by that time we were out of the state. Chris was at work on Tuesday when I left and I didnt get to see him before I left for Florida. You see, we never told anyone we were in love. Chris said it wasn't the right time. The main thing was to get me somewhere safe. So Thursday afternoon we arrived in Florida at my aunt's house. I spent almost about two weeks there hiding out and relaxing a bit. My mom finally calmed down and realised I wasn't coming back home. It wasn't the way I wanted to leave but it was my only option. My family in Florida were sad when I told them I was leaving. They wanted me to stay but my heart was with Chris. I expressed my love for Chris and my aunt was in the room when he asked me to marry him. We told the couple from church that I was coming back and explained we loved each other. During my stay, Chris sacrificed sleep and we talked for hours every night. I stayed about two weeks before booking my flight home. I was scared and exciting all at the same time. It was my first time flying and I was alone. I was finally getting home to the love of my life. On Sunday August 5th, my flight arrived back home and Chris picked me up at the airport. We had out first official date at Lucky's Steakhouse. We drove back to Chris's house where I was surprised with a beautiful flower covered bedroom with candles. We showered and had passionate sex. The best night of my life. We drove to the church and I sang him Perfect by Ed Shernan and he read a very beautiful letter. After that, things calmed down with my family. I knew I was safe and I wasn't going anywhere. I was planning my wedding. Weeks went by and we finally had our wedding day! September 1st 2018 was the day. You could see the love in his eyes. The best day of my life marrying my best friend!
