toddler has an upset tummy - what do i do??

my 2 1/2 year old has had a stomach flu (diarrhea & vomiting) for the past 3 days
i took him to the doctor already & they said he's doing fine, but i feel so helpless when he gets sick.
what do you mommies do when your little one has tummy aches, diarrhea, and/or vomiting?? how do you make them feel better???

Unfortunately there’s not much you can do. Try to keep him hydrated and lots of cuddles! I hope he gets better soon!!

When my daughter was sick like that ( once around 10 months and another time around a year) one of the things we did was we put her crib mattress on our bedroom floor so that we could keep a better eye on her. I’m glad we did this bc she woke up puking in her sleep and I was able to be right there right away. Lots of snuggles, keep them hydrated and cool rag on their back of their neck or forehead if a little feverish 💕 sending feel better vibes.

I limit food especially greasy food and give them plain thing to eat, it’s better to have sips of water then drinking a big drink & ice pops are great to. Then I deep clean everything as sickness bug lasts on light switches, door handles, toys etc for 2wks so you can re catch it once your over it, and non one wants that. Hope your little ones feels better soon.
