Stop birth control, thoughts?

So I want another baby so bad, my partner not yet so I’m on birth control but the damn stuff is making my periods last like 9/10 days and I’m period free for only like 20 days it’s stupid. I feel I should stop to be regular again or does it ever get normal again?  I’m on my 5th month of birth control and still last this long... we don’t use protection so chances of getting pregnant would be high probably but he is not opposed to me getting off because he hates how long my periods last too... I use this app religiously to track my cycle in general so that is why I thought I’d post here... how likely are you to get pregnant when you get off birth control?

What kind of birth control are you on? Maybe try a different method. Like an iud or the bar instead. Just make sure you let your man know ahead of time if you stop it completely.

Maybe try a different BC pill. They’re supposed to make your periods shorter and lighter

I would suggest trying different birth control till you find one that works for you. When I stopped taking birth control to ttc it took me 2 months to get pregnant without much tracking or increasing sexual activity.

There’s around a 30% chance of pregnancy each month with sex that is timed correctly for ovulation.

Before stopping, talk to him first! You might need to switch to a different one, it took me a couple different ones to find one that worked for me. If you switch, use back up!

Switch methods. I know how it sucks to have periods that long because mine are like that when I'm not on birth control. Nuvaring made my periods 3 days and mirena got rid of them.
