Boyfriend Approval

I have a shiba inu named Lumi and she is VERY protective of me. She doesn’t like for anyone to be touching me, she doesn’t even want me to pet my other dog (but of course I do). Every time I’ve brought someone home, she’s guarded me and growled at the new person, except for my best friends. My new boyfriend came over last night and he isn’t really a dog person, but Lumi is my baby and I wanted to make sure she likes him. Well, Lumi jumped up onto the bench with me and sat calmly while he petted her for a good 10 minutes!!!! I’ve never known Lumi to like someone that quickly other than me when I first got her!!!!!

I’m not sure if she just really likes him since dogs can usually sense good/bad people.

Maybe she just sensed how much I like him, so she decided to like him too??

Either way, I’M SO HAPPY SHE LIKES HIM!!! He is Lumi-approved, so I guess he is my soulmate 😂😂😂
