Should he be liable for child support?

Question

Two people not in a relationship have protected sex and the condom fails and she gets pregnant. He suggests abortion and offers to pay but she doesn’t get one should he be liable for 18 years of child support? 
As a women I feel wrong taking away a mans reproductive rights when I have so many choices after a pregnancy and he has none. I feel taking away his reproductive rights and forcing him into unwanted parenthood or a 18 year bill, equivalent to me being forced to not abort when I don’t want to be pregnant or have a child.
** I live in a state that does not allow men to sign off there rights unless there is a adoption already in process.

Answer

In this case, I wouldn’t take him to court and force him to pay. If he wanted to be in the baby’s life. I would let him be. 
Honestly, tying a man to a baby he doesn’t want, while it may bring in money for the child. It wouldn’t bring love and support. 
I’d rather do it alone and do it happily, than do it with help and do it bitterly. 
It’s a hard situation.

Its not taking away his reproductive rights, he can still have other children with other women. Its his choice not to be a father but you also choose to keep the baby knowing that he won’t be around. You shouldn’t have to struggle to pay for the child if he can help out.
