Two month shots experience....?

Question

What was your experience with shots at your two month appointment if you vaccinated? How did your baby respond- not looking forward to 4&6 months.

Initially he cried, I breastfed him immediately after and he was calm before we left the exam room. He slept more the rest of the day and the next day. 
That was it! Not a big deal.

My baby just got her 2 month shots yesterday. 3 actual needles and 1 that was oral. She has been grumpy ever since and sleeping a lot. She’s still got a fever but I’m giving her infant Tylenol for that. It keeps spiking but hopefully will be gone by tomorrow. I just keep waking her up every 3 hours to feed her and make sure she stays hydrated and give her as much cuddles as I can without her getting too hot.

He cried for a few minutes, and I tried to give him his bottle, but he wouldn’t take it. I just put him in my wrap, so he was close to me and cozy and he was calmed down and asleep by the time we got to the car. He was fussy later that night, but I gave him some Tylenol and he went to sleep. He was a little extra clingy and sleepy the next day. It was an easy experience for us.

Screamed and cried during (broke my heart). Had a fever that night and the next day - I had him skin to skin a lot, co-slept with him all night and gave him Tylenol. He was happy again by 48 hours even though I’d lost a piece of my sanity.

He cried and I breastfed and soothed him to sleep in the dr office. He slept while we ran errands. Got home he woke up a little I breastfed him again he fell back asleep. Thought hey this isn't bad.  Then he woke up screaming losing his shit and had a fever.  Wouldn't calm down until we got some Tylenol in him. Then he was good.  It just surprised us.  I feel more confident knowing his reaction.

She was pretty upset for 10-15 minutes afterward but nurses at the clinic and fell asleep almost immediately once she was back in the car seat. Her personality wasn’t really different at all, but she did spike a fever at almost exactly 24 hours post shots for about 8 hours. We didn’t give any Tylenol - just gave her a bath and did lots of skin to skin.

He cried with the last 2 shots but stopped once I picked him up. The rest of the day he was a bit irritable not too bad!

We had them yesterday. Shots were fine. She cried and calmed in the office... no soother and no feeding required.  We had a moderate reaction later that day - nothing that would stop me from going back for future immunizations. Her legs swelled to almost twice their size from hip to ankle. She woke up in an epic meltdown and I found out during her diaper change of this reaction at the 5 hour mark after her shots. Gave her tylenol and she was her happy chatty self again. Ate, played, diapers and slept as she usually does despite the swelling. She was so completely unbothered. No fever, no rash, no hot to the touch. Doc says it's just her and not an allergic reaction and should outgrow this for future immunizations.
