First pregnancy, when to prepare???

Question

So I got my first ever BFP on Sunday, still in shock. 
Booking appointment booked for 17th December ( I’ll be about 7 weeks )
I’m curious as to when people started going out and buying baby bits ( clothes, bottles, furniture, pram ect ) 
Obviously I don’t want to get carried away but I’m also super excited.
When did you start buying baby items and which items did you buy?

First off, congrats!!!!!!
Secondly, I didn’t buy anything until I knew the gender at 20 weeks. Mainly because I knew my friends and family were going to buy a ton of stuff.

First time mom here too but as a NICU nurse, I am waiting until my idea of viability which is around 27 weeks. It's hard to resist as I walk by all the cute clothes!

I’m also on my first pregnancy. It was a surprise for us as I have a stepdaughter whos going to be 3. 
Anyways. We have some things but we’re waiting for the baby shower for big stuff so after the gender I think

I started buying clothes and baby items after i found out What i was having at around 18 weeks. But it's never too early to prepare for your baby😊

My appointment is the same date I’ll be 8 weeks. 
I actually did a little shopping I just got a cute onesie and a pair of shoes. Nothing to to big because I didn’t want to get carried away. I would just start small and work your way up as you get bigger. But that’s just me 🤷🏽‍♀️
