IM IN LOVE WITH MY BEST FRIEND

Hey ladies I need help and I need it ASAP !! So my best friend and I have known each other for the last 6ish years. He and I always got along because we think and process the same way. My family think we are dating as we are not and his dad is convinced we are as well. I’ve always thought he was attractive but in the last 6 months I’ve come to realize that I actually love him. I don’t know what to do because we call each other family and really care for each other. A lot of my friends have asked me if I love him or like him and yada yada but I always just say no because I’m not sure what to do. We have been there for each other through the hardest point in our lives thus far and I dint want anything to change but I also don’t know how long I can keep pretending. My 2 friends him and i went to dinner the other night and he was making it a point to tease me and kept touching my arm a lot and just making jokes or referring to thing only we know about. Idk where I’m going wit this but do I tell him and risk our friendship or say nothing and see if he does more.
