Just need to vent

So I’m 39+4 and when they checked on Tuesday my cervix was still completely closed. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I had two days of painful Braxton Hicks contractions that then stopped so it really feels like nothing is progressing. Induction is scheduled for the 10th at 1pm cause I am AMA but...the midwife said that if I’m still not dilated at all to expect that it will take AT LEAST 24 hours but probably more with the added step of having to ripen my cervix with medication and then insert a foley bulb. I fear that it will all be for nothing in that my cervix won’t cooperate and I’ll end up getting a c-section and end up being in the hospital foooorrrreeeeeevvvvvveeerrrrr.

I’m still holding out hope for labor to start on its own before then but it’s hard not to feel discouraged and frustrated right now. Also discovered before bed last night that I have a loose filling so I have to try to have dental work done today and apparently there are a bunch of rules surrounding that as my OB office wants to fax rules over to the dentist. Novocain doesn’t work on me...I can still feel everything. So this is going to be a really crappy day.
