Night sweats?

I'm 8 days postpartum and have night sweats like crazy... I didn't have them in the hospital but now when I wake up to feed I have to change my clothes.... I had an unmedicated birth so I know it isn't from meds and I'm very hydrated... I know sweating is normal but is this much normal?

Yes. I've had to change my shirt a few times (not from boobs leaking) but because I've sweated so much. It's your body trying to regulate itself again after having so much extra blood and birthing a baby. It's also hormones playing a part. I'm 5 days pp and it started at 3 days for me. I've now switched from being hot all the time to freezing cold. I've had to shut my bedroom door and add extra blanket to my bed just to compensate for it. Dh has to deal with it cuz there's pretty much nothing I can do.

I also had an unmediated labor and delivery. I also had pretty bad night sweats. Mine did start in the hospital though. You are normal.

I feel like I am always cold.  Then if I get a chill my milk  let's down.  At night I go to bed freezing and I wake up for the middle of the night feeding and I'm all sweaty.

I am almost 6 weeks PP and still get them.

I'm 2.5 weeks pp and have them too!  One night it was so bad I had to change the sheets. 😆

Welcome to pp! It goes away but I remember being drenched. Just losing all the water and swelling. My legs were crazy swelled the week after.

Ugh I was kinda hoping you guys would tell me I only had a few days left! I'm going to have to start sleeping in my bathtub!

I had them. Had to change sometimes 3 times a night! Lasted 3-4 weeks. Your sweating out all the extra fluids your body built up during being pregnant. I suggest sleeping on a towel and having extra pj's layed out so you can change quickly and get back to bed.
