I asked him on a date while I was drunk

So I was at a party and I went up to the guy at my school that I think is cute.

I don’t remember too much but I remember that I went up to him and we held hands and I asked him to be my boyfriend and to go on a date 😭😂 he knew I was drunk so he just laughed and was understanding, he took me to the sofa and sat me down then had my friend take care of me.

I ran into him at school but felt awkward since what happened that night and have just been pretending that I don’t remember what happened.

I wanted to follow him on Instagram since we have mutual friends or something but I just feel like it’s kind of awkward.

What should I do?
