20 weeks placenta is 4mm away from cervical opening.. is it a big concern right now? I was sent a eltter so far about it i go in 2 weeks to discuss it

Mine has been super close or on top of my cervix my entire pregnancy, and they didn’t even bother telling me until 28 weeks lol they said even now it has so much time to move that no decisions will be made until 34 weeks

I meant to hit no, sorry. From my understanding it's only an issue for delivery IF it doesn't move by then.

Mine was the same at my 20 week appointment I went back 4 weeks later and it had moved up. Doctor said if it didn’t move I’d have to have a c section but thankfully it moved and I delivered vaginally. I wouldn’t be concerned just yet

No, at my anatomy scan, mine was the same, midwife told me most of the time it moves up as your uterus grows, sure enough, had another ultrasound at 24 weeks & it moved up and looked good!! I wouldn’t worry unless you were closer to delivery!
