Advice?

This doesn’t have anything directly to do with me but it’s my cousin so its weighing heavy on my mind.

Back story:

I moved away from home 7 years ago. I’ve always been a introvert, shy and awkward.

I don’t know how to talk with people that well and I’m terrible at keeping in touch with people.

But that doesn’t mean I don’t care and think about them.

Anywho I called my mom to check in and she tells me this story about my little cousin who I use to be close with. I use to babysit her when I lived back home. She was about 11-12 then.

Well almost a year ago she was with her ex bf. And he physically attacked her trying to choke her and hit her.

Then he moved away to a different state soon after.

When my mom originally told me this story I was LIVID!!! Who is the shit stain who thinks he can hurt my family!?!

Her mom and brothers were furious. Her mom even filed charges on the boy.

Now fast forward to today my mom tell me. My cousin is still with this boy and left to visit him. And her parents are mad and she’s ignoring them.

Seemingly everyone has tried talking with her but she’s doesn’t listen.

Im fearful of the things this boy can do to her, if he hurt once There’s high chance he’ll do it again.

Should I attempt to reach out to her?

What can I say that her mom hasn’t already said?

I told my mom also my family has a tendency to speak AT people instead of TO them.

And I said that could be a big cause of the problem.

I’m curious to know if they’re having a honest to God Heart to heart or just screaming/demanding things from her.

I don’t know I’m just praying for her and her safety.
