How many nappies did you buy?

currently 29 weeks pregnant and due to start shopping after i move into my mums new home on the 20th. How many nappies did you buy? how many wipes? how much shampoo body wash, body cream did you buy? sorry it’s my first and i just honestly don’t wanna buy too little.

we got tons of diapers at our baby shower. i’d honestly recommend getting a couple boxes of the first few sizes so buying more isn’t something you have to think about when you’re adjusting to having a new baby. 
i bought plenty of wipes too, a big box of 12 packs. you can always return if your baby is sensitive but as long as they’re unscented etc. you should be fine. 
we also got lots of bath stuff at the baby shower but i bought a bottle of shea moisture baby and its still not even halfway empty at 7 months old so no need to go overboard. 
only thing i’ll say to somewhat buy as you go is clothes. (as in, don’t try and buy their whole wardrobe now) they grow out of them so fast. make sure you’re always buying the next size up as well in diapers and clothes so you have a better idea of when you need to size up.
