Week from hell

Wow. This week had been really rough. Started on thanksgiving, I started spotting and cramping. The following Monday I went in to the doctor, they did an ultrasound and showed it was right around 5 weeks. HCG tests went up after 48 hours but my progesterone was low so they wanted to start me on supplements. Meanwhile I have this nasty cold that is taking everything out of me. Friday my 2 year old nearly killed herself on the blind cords, luckily my dog barked and got my attention, that’s a long story, the Friday night I asked my husband to take my car into town because I needed gas and being sick didn’t want to do it myself. He hit a deer, or rather the deer hit him...did a crapload if damage to my new car I’ve had for a month! Sunday I start to bleed a lot so I came to the er. They were able to find a heartbeat and things were all good with baby, but I have pneumonia so I’ve been admitted and they are running all kinds of tests. They think I may have a blood clot in my lung so In the middle of the night they took me for this test where I had to breath in this radioactive medication for 7 mins then have more injected through IV. The guy said there is a small chance if it causing a birth defect but it was either that or a CT and he said that would be much more radiation and a much higher chance of problems with baby. I’m so emotional and am terrified it could cause long term problems for the baby. This awful week just needs to be over.
