Bloodwork question

Alyssa • 👰🏻💍 October 7, 2017 👼🏻 June 2019 🌈👧🏻August 2020

Hey ladies,

I called my OB this morning to tell them about the positive hpts and schedule bloodwork. I had a miscarriage is June and my primary thinks the reason was low progesterone (my old OB never ran initial bloodwork, so it was not confirmed. I also has slow rising HCG. The nurse in the office this morning told me that they will not do a hcg test until I am a week late, and they will just do the progesterone levels when they do that as well. I called my primary and he ordered them for me, so I am getting them done. But is this normal practice for an OB? Last time I had bloodwork done immediately for my hcg.

Thank you!
