First period postpartum

So I had my son back in September and I had my first appointment to get checked after having baby last week on Wednesday so almost 3 months later. And I feel like the dr didn’t do what he was supposed to he just had me lay back and swabbed me for idk what exactly but didn’t do a Pap smear, didn’t stick his fingers in to feel around like nothing besides swabbing.

I just got my first period on Friday and it started out light but Saturday it got heavier and I literally feel like my vag is getting torn apart inside!! I get these really strong sharp pains. The bleeding has been heavy that every time I go to the bathroom I’m changing my pad honestly.

I just wanted to see if anyone has had a similar experience at all? This is my second son so maybe that has something to do with me having more bleeding and pain but I’m not sure?
