So there’s this guy

I met this guy in September. We are both 6 mos separated. We like each other very much. We connected on levels that neither one of us have experienced before. The problem is, he briefly dated a girl right after his separation in July/August and she just called and told him last week that she’s pregnant and it’s his. I’ve told him that I can’t continue on as we were but will be friends. He’s okay with this but we are both very disappointed. I feel a heaviness for him in my heart and I don’t know what to do. What do you ladies think?
