I need help?

I know this might be dumb but Idk where else to ask this. I have a three week old & im a first time mom who takes care of baby all alone so bear with me lol

Is it okay for me to sleep if my baby is awake but in his crib? We room share, his crib is beside my bed but sometimes after a feeding/burning/changing and soothing he just won’t go back to sleep but I’ll be exhausted & I’ll NEED to sleep but I feel so guilty laying him in his crib if he’s awake & idk if it’s even ok for me to do please help
