please give advice

i’ve posted about this before, so sorry if you’ve seen past forums about this but i’m just confused.

long story short i started talking to this boy that i used to talk to last year. we hit it off good. he complimented me, kept convos going, we just vibed really well together.

one night he told me about how his cousin thought i had beautiful eyes and then followed up with “he’s not lying, you’ve got some pretty nice eyes” and it was really nice to me lol.

we’d see each other in the halls and he’d always tease me about how short i was. i remember once we were walking past each other and he stopped mid-walk and checked me out then walked away. we both laughed. it was so cute.

this was ongoing for about 3-4 months. so i confessed and told him i liked him and said he probably doesn’t feel the same and then said “ya...” so i knew he wasnt interested because he’d probably want to talk about it if he was. i talked to my friends about that and they agreed and said or he’s figuring out his feelings but now every time he talks to me he ends up just leaving me on open. so i guess were not even friends anymore.

is he really that not interested? do you guys think he ever liked me? or did he really just think of me as a friend?

also sorry i’m posting this in more than one group because i’m not over him and i just really need to know what other people think
