Do you believe it’s a ‘choice’ to be offended?
I won’t state my personal opinion because I don’t want this to be about me.
But I’ve heard arguments from both sides. Do you think people choose to be offended? Is the extent of how offended someone may or may not be a result of their self-esteem? Their experiences? Maybe their mental health? Do you think more people should accept accountability for their own emotions? Or the opposite, do you think others should be held more accountable for (what could be) offensive behaviors?
I think it’s interesting :)
