Anyone suffering from Carpel Tunnel?

Is anyone suffering from carpel tunnel? My doctor told me it's normal in pregnancy but it's awful I sleep with a brace at night but mornings are rough, numb fingers and I can't close my hand in a fist for the first 30 mins waking up, anyone find a way to deal with it?

I had it with my daughter the last 10 weeks of pregnancy and it was so awful! Numb all the time and could hardly sleep in any position! Ice packs helped when it would get really bad and braces at night a little...
Hoping I don’t get it this time!!! Or at least not as bad! 
It didn’t show up until 30 weeks last time 😬😬😬😬 
For me it took several weeks tp start going down and a couple months to be all gone after birth

Yes and i’m also a hairstylist who already had carpal tunnel before, it sucks 😢 magnesium supplements help with muscle pain and i’ve noticed it helping the carpal tunnel a bit

I had that with my daughter, it was a NIGHTMARE. Hoping I don’t get it this time. I heard seeing a chiropractor can help. I’m also avoiding carbs and salt hoping it’ll help me. So sorry, that pain is awful :(

I had it with my daughter and it’s so painful. I wore the braces at night and before bed ran my hands under warm water and cold water in the morning to try and help.

I didn't even connect it with being pregnant but yes I have to stop at work and massage the thumb on my right hand going towards my wrist. I assumed it was because my mom had carpal tunnel.

I had this really bad when I was pregnant with my first. I wore compression gloves at night and they really helped with the swelling and numbness in the morning. I recommend them over a brave.

My first pregnancy it was so awful as I was working still and it was a very hands in job with lots of wrist bending. Nothing I did helped at all. The braces gave some relief but never fully or near enough. The day after baby was born it was all gone thank goodness. Cold compresses if it’s unbearable.
