Need some parenting advice

So I have a 2 year old and he has been sleeping with us for 2 years it all started when he got really sick when he was around 1 anyway he won’t sleep unless he is sleeping next to me I am trying to get him back in his crib but every time i put him down he wakes up and cry’s and won’t go back to sleep even when I leave the room he cry’s until I come back and get him so how do I get him to stay asleep in his crib so I can get some sleep also once I get him to sleep in his crib how do I get him to sleep though the night normally he will go to bed at around 8 or 8:30pm but wake up around 3 or 4 or 5 in the morning and won’t go back to sleep till like 10 or 11 am any advice would help thanks....
