Grandparents Rights??

Question

If my son is born in a different state than where his grandparent resides, (I am in GA, she’s in FL) which state’s grandparent’s right do they have? So they still have the ability to file for visitation rights?

It's almost impossible for them to get rights even if you were in the same state. The cases where they get visitation rights are very stringent. 
Florida:
The Florida Supreme Court has on more than one occasions ruled that the application some provisions of the Florida statute providing grandparental visitation is unconstitutional.
Under the current statute, Florida courts may award visitation to a grandparent when visitation is in the child's best interest and:
The marriage of the child's parents has been dissolved;
A parent has deserted a child; or
The child was born out of wedlock.
Georgia:
The custody statute does not list specific factors for the court to consider for determining the best interest of the child. A court may award visitation rights if an action is pending where there is an issue involving the custody of a minor child, divorce of the child's parents, termination of a parent's rights, or visitation rights.
Adoption cuts off the visitation rights of the grandparents unless the adoption is granted to a stepparent or a natural relative of the child.

I think it is the child’s home state! Not 100% sure but I know many things that are filed for visitation and such regarding a child it has to be based on child’s home state.

I have estranged parents that contacted me when they heard I was pregnant and threatened to take us to court for the baby. We have an attorney involved now and he said it is extremely hard for it to go in the grandparents favor especially not having a relationship with them prior to the baby. He also said to keep proof of every time they contact me since I have asked them in writing not to. He basically said the only way they would get rights to see her in our state is if I die and my husband kept her from them when she previously had a relationship with them which isn’t even our case. Good luck it sucks that grandparents act so crazy sometimes.

I’m pretty sure it’s the state the child lives in. Grandparents rights are hard to get but I’m not 100% sure because Michigan doesn’t have grandparents rights. My son’s grandparents did try and got denied. I really don’t understand why they tried when their son lived with them 🤦🏻‍♀️.
