Thoughts? UPDATED

My friend (does not have kids) thinks that their should be paternity and maternity leave for new pets (specifically puppies). I will keep my thoughts aside for now. Ladies, what do you think?

Okay, get this. I asked her why she thinks this should be a thing and she said AND I QUOTE “well think about it, they are just like human babies. You have to feed them, bathe them, make sure they make it outside at all hours of the night, wake to them crying at all hours of the night. It’s really hard work. I mean, it may even be harder at first because you can’t just put a diaper on them and call it good. If you ain’t 100% on top of them having outside bathroom breaks, your home becomes the bathroom. I honestly think that’s harder than waking up, picking up your baby, and feeding it well still in bed. You don’t have to walk your baby either...also, what if that is all a parent will have as a baby due to issues with having a baby. ”
