Delivered at 28 weeks 5 days

Today was the scariest day of my life! I woke up at about 5:30 this morning to what i thought was me peeing myself and when I got into my bathroom I looked down and was covered in blood. I called an ambulance and was rushed to labor and delivery where I continued to rapidly lose blood. I was rushed to the OR for an emergency c-section. My placenta detached from my uterine wall. Caroline Grace was born at 8:05am weighing 2 pounds 9 ounces and 16 inches long. She was breathing on her own for a while but then grew tired so they had to put a vent in. They’re expecting her to be here for 6-8 weeks I had to be given 2 pints of blood and I’m really feeling the pain of the c-section but my babygirl is worth it all! She’s a fighter!
