How many?... FTM

I’m due in January and I have no idea how many crib sheets I need. How many do I need? And crib liners? And how many bottles do we need-were formula feeding? TIA!

I recommend the double layered sheeting if you can... mattress cover, sheet, then mattress cover, sheet so if there’s a huge puke or poop up and out the back in the middle of the night, you can just pull off the top layers. And then we’d only change them if they’re dirty. And two mattress covers minimum. I’d go for 6 minimum sheets. Bottles... well... since you can’t store formula (whatever isn’t consumed in that serving has to be tossed/washed), probably two 4oz minimum and two 8oz minimum. And the longer bad formula sits, the worse it smells, so rinse or wash immediately. Same for formula spit-up. That stuff stains big time into a yellowish brown stain.

Cant help with the bottles thing but we have 4-5 crib sheets and 1 mattress liner. We haven't needed more and our daughter is 2.5

My son is over a year old, and we still have the two crib sheets that we bought when he was born. We ended up not using the crib until 6 months but that’s not the point lol. And for the bottles, I would grab one or two of the same brand/nipple type at a time until you find out what your baby prefers. We have two different brands currently and have used both interchangeably since he was a few months old (my husband grabbed the wrong ones when I sent him for new ones🤦🏼‍♀️) but thankfully my son didn’t care. He was confused for a minute, but as soon as he realized what was inside he never looked back- I know ALOT of moms that had to try 4+ different brands before their child found one they liked, so it’s a guessing game. We have 2 mattress protectors (for a back up for the middle of the night accidents), and too many sheets 😂 like 6. But you only need a few, it’s just nice to have extras for when you can’t do laundry right away! As for bottles, get 1 or 2 of a few brands, because some babies can be picky. When you know what your baby likes, about 8-12 bottles will be good to have so you can make it through 1 day before washing them all.

It all depends on how often you plan to change the sheet. If you have a baby with reflux. I have 7. I change her sheet everyday and also do her laundry 1-2 times a week.

My son is 2 and so far we’ve done fine with 3 crib sheets and 2 crib liners. 
As for bottles it depends how often you run your dishwasher. We had 9 bottles and ran the dishwasher 2x a day.

We have 2 crib liners and I think 7 sets of sheets cause I got them second hand from someone for free. We haven’t had to use any yet since our daughter is sleeping in her bassinet for the first 6 months or so. We have 2 bassinet sheets and we’ve been fine with that so far. 
As for bottles it’s hard to say. We supplement with formula and have 10 bottles in 3 different sizes (2oz, 4oz, 9oz). I would wait to buy a stock pile of bottles though until you know what baby likes. My daughter had a preference in what bottles/nipples we used.
