Question for moms who have already delivered their twins:

Becca

I’m aware that I’ll be delivering in an operating room & that there will be “tons of people” in there but my question is, how many people exactly (from hospital staff) were in the OR when you delivered your twins? & who were they? I asked my dr if there would be several people in there bc I feel like with all 3 of my singleton births there’s already so many ppl in there just standing around watching while you’re like at your most vulnerable moment of your life & spread eagle for everyone to see & it’s already so invasive as it is that it really adds stress to the entire birthing process for me every time. So I was just wondering how it would differ having two babies. I know some moms are so comfortable with their bodies & could care less bc they’re so focused on the task at hand & nothing else but that’s just not me lol I wish it was. Anyway her answer to my question was “oh yea, tons.” She explained to me that it would be herself & my nurse & each baby would have their own “team” of nurses & I think drs???? I can’t recall exactly what she said bc I had so many questions at my last visit. Can anyone tell me about their personal experience in the OR room as far as that goes? Thanks!
