Will I lose Medicare if I get married?

Just got married and also found out I’m pregnant.  They don’t know I’m married yet.  I’m taking in my pregnancy verification form to the Medicare office on Monday so that I can get pregnancy benefits.  But the marriage thing, does this have any effect?  We got married last month.

Yeah. They’re gonna want his income information. You guys are considered in the same household now. 
And I’m guessing you mean Medicaid because Medicare is different 😬

If his income, which is now counted towards your "household" income puts you over the limit then yes you will provide lose Medicaid. If it's only income based. 
Dont lie about it. Your legal marriage is public record. You can get in big trouble if you take benefits they dont believe you are entitled to

I think it depends on the combined income of you and your spouse. If you’re above the limit you will lose it, If not you won’t. I could be wrong though

If your combined income is now over the limit you will lose it, but that means that you could then be in the range to qualify for a reduced cost plan from Obamacare. You apply on healthcare.gov. My husband and I are just over the limit for Pregnancy Medicare but we only have to pay $30 a month for a really good insurance plan through the marketplace. I think it’s actually a good thing to no longer qualify for Medicare, it means you are doing well. You get more options this way. Open enrollment is over for Obamacare on the 15th so you may want to hurry and go to their website to see if you qualify with them. You can fill out an application and not go forward with it. Their customer service is really helpful too.

You probably will depending on his income level. I've heard of that happening a lot. If you don't report it and they find out it will be worse. Medicare and Medicaid are cracking down are stuff like that.
