2 failed cycles of femara 😢 I am feeling weak. Please help me give me some ray of hope? How many cycles did it take to help you conceive? What if 3rd cycle fails too 😞 I need baby dust ✨

I am going on about a year and a half of Femara. No positive yet. My doctor even increased my dosage from 2.5 to 5. My husband and I are trying iui in January, and are scheduled for ivf in April. We REALLY wanted to do it the natural way (with fertility med help was fine). But we have now finally come to the conclusion that we definitely need help.

So! A few question: 1) is your doctor checking your progesterone levels? 2) are you using OPKs? 3) OB/GYN or fertility clinic? 
1) If your doctor isn't checking your progesterone levels you might not have a high enough dose to be ovulating. 
2) If your doctor isn't checking your progesterone, OPKs can clue you in if you're ovulating or not. My doctor recommends Clear Blue Digital. Not the Advanced though!
3) If you're seeing an OB/GYN you most likely haven't had a sperm analysis done. My doctor, fertility clinic, has said that he has seen more male infertility than female. Also it takes on average a year to get pregnant because 1 in 6 embryo's stick. Being on Femara (or Clomid) can make odds harder. Femara/Clomid may help you ovulate but it also thickens your cervical mucus, making it harder for sperm to make it through the cervix. It also thins your uterine lining. Which is why testing your progesterone level is important. It can indicate a too thin lining that an embryo can't implant in.

My doctor started at 2.5 and went up to 7.5 on my third month and I got my bfp. Sending the baby dust your way and hoping it works out for you too!

Just to give you some hope- I went through 7 rounds of medication before I got pregnant. That included 4 IUIs! 
The month I got pregnant was my second round of Femara with no IUI and no trigger shot. 
I know after your first couple rounds you start to feel defeated like it’s never gonna happen but don’t give up!!
