Barista stories

When I worked as a barista, I was always confronted with rude customers. They always snapped at me, insulted me, whatever. its a toxic workplace. For some reason our stand in particular always got the meanest customers. Management was always hearing about the way customers were treating us. Well one day I had a lady come in acting like the worst entitled bitch on the planet. After dealing with rude people all day, I decided I had enough. When she ordered she was snappy with me, like I was somehow making her feel worse. She ordered her coffee, and scoffed at me when she walked away so... I decided to put one shot in her drink 🤷‍♀️ It felt good. She took a sip, gave me a disgusted face, and walked off. I couldn’t help but laugh at myself.

I couldn’t begin to tell you how worthless I felt the 3 months I worked there because of the disgusting things people said to/about me for no reason. The stories I have 😒🙄
