At what age did your child learn colours?

Meaning how to match colours? My daughter still doesn’t know and she’s going to be two in two days

My son is 19 months and if you even mention the word color he automatically says “blue” however we have a book about dinosaurs that are all different colors and if I ask him where the red one or purple or whatever color he’ll point to the correct one. I wouldn’t be too concerned at this point. If she gets to be 3 or 4 then that would worry me but 2 still seems pretty young to me.

Like 2.5 and still messes them up at 3 🤷. As long as she can say like 50 words you are headed in the right direction the matching color stuff will come with time just keep working on it.

Around 2 he started getting them but wasn’t consistent about it until 2.5-ish.

My son knew them around 18 months, but will rarely actually give you the correct color if you ask. Not sure why. He’ll tell you an object is purple, but then when you ask later what color it is, he’ll say blue or black.

18m for my first but my second will for sure be at least two. He’s almost 16m and says about 5 words.
