Cervix positioning? Or intestines ?

Question

My cervix is high and hard. But I cant tell if im touching my actual cervix or if im feeling my rectal cavity in the back of my vagina.
Also what does the cervix feel like before your period and when pregnant? 
i dont need to be criticized im just trying to find out whats going on. I know it's not 100% reliable but I'm just checking it out and yes I'm gonna test soon.

So no criticism here just some advice that I’ve picked up on. Your cervix position changes several times throughout the day, that’s why it’s not a reliable indicator of your period or pregnancy. It can change at various times during the day even when pregnant. There’s no baseline for either because it can vary from one person to the next. And from what I’ve gathered, checking it only leaves you asking more questions that we’ll never have an answer to lol

Your perineum separates your vagina from your rectum. You have to feel up a whole different hole to feel your rectum.
