Enema??

Anyone else going to do an enema on themselves at home? I will be induced tomorrow evening...just wondering if anyone has done it or planning on doing it. If so which brand? Never done it before

Nah. I totally pooped during labor the first time and I was so busy getting a baby out of my body that I didn't really care. 🤷‍♀️ Definitely plan on pooping on the table again for baby #2! 😂

They gave my sister in law one in the hospital. She hadn't pooped for 2 days and told them she was really uncomfortable so they gave her one. She said it felt AMAZING to have relief before labor progressed to unbearable.

They didn’t tell me if I pooped the first delivery and I didn’t ask. I was too busy focusing on pushing for so long that idc if I did. I don’t think my doctor would recommend and enema either, but if your doc is ok with it and you want it, you do you.

I’ve thought about it but probably won’t. I’m not excited about the idea of pooping during delivery but I’m going to try to go to the bathroom beforehand and if it happens it happens.
