Epidural or no epidural?

I used to think that I was 100% on board about getting an epidural. I’ve been reading up lately and we went to a child birthing class. Research shows that the more you can let gravity do its job, the better labor progresses. So by being able to walk/move around, squat, sit on a birthing ball, lay in a warm bath etc. are great ways to help labor progress, but once you get an epidural, your mobility is limited to the bed. I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. I’d love to hear what your plans are about getting an epidural or not. I’m not here to judge anybody’s decisions to get one or not.
