Pls helppp

So my period is really late. It’s late most of the time but I’m really paranoid. I did have sex, it was protected and the chance of me being pregnant is very low but I can’t help but think about it. I know the most obvious answer to this would to get a test but I don’t have any money for a test right now im working and I get paid at the end of this month. What do I do?

Edit : the guy I had sex with I don’t speak to anymore. He was my boyfriend at the time and I found out he cheated on me literally couple days after I had sex with him.
