I accidentally left the wax on the brush (was pleasuring myself). What to tell parents?

What's a good excuse for taking the brush off the electric toothbrush and putting orthodontic wax on it? Please help me. My parents are very conservative. I WASH IT Y'ALL AND THAT PART DOESN'T GO IN MY MOUTH. I use it on my clit (not inside). I can't buy sex toys, my parents are very conservative. And I don't have any privacy other then in the bathroom. My bedroom door doesn't have a lock. My parents don't think I need a lock. They can look through my stuff any time they like. So I don't have a good spot to hide toys either. I make do with what I have. I always clean up my stuff once I'm done but somehow forgot to last time and the brush had been on the bathroom counter.
