My SO loves my family. Although he thinks my dad doesn’t like him, but my dad will never think any man is good enough for me so lmao But my dad doesn’t like him, just in his own way.

He's fine with my dad and sister, doesn't really get along with my mom (but no one really does so it's fine, she's a difficult person) but we aren't close enough to them for there to be much of a relationship either way

Hes not a huge fan of my brother but he can be a pretty unlikable guy and I get it but hes always friendly and respectful when around him and that's all I can ask for (we don't see him much)

Mine has issues for sure. But they are valid issues that I also have. He's never stopped me from spending time with them or anything, but he protects me from nonsense when he is with me,  so I don't like to see them without him around
