My best friend is territorial...

Hi all:

I love my bff. She is amazing, however, she is starting to become very territorial and it’s starting to become annoying. We are both in our earlier twenties. However, she has a family (two children and a boyfriend... soon to be fiancé) and I am single without children. Everytime I go out with my other freind(s) she is questioning me and wanting to know all the details. I do invite her out, but often times she can’t make it due to her family obligations or she fail to follow up and when we do go out, there’s such an imbalance because I get the vibe that she misses her family and wants to be home with them or that she misses her bf...It’s to the point where I don’t like telling her that I’m going out with others because she starts to say things like... “oh, that’s your best friend now”, or “she looks funny”, etc. Have anyone experienced this with their best friend and how did you handle it? I feel like she indirectly tries to make me feel like I’m in the wrong for hanging out with others.
