So don’t fly international??

Question

Okay so 2 things: 
1: I found out I’m expecting and I’m a few months away from a planned international trip. 
2: My hubs and I always wanted to do a “baby/moon” kind of thing when we finally got pregnant.
But I’m reading all about how women with their first pregnancy shouldn’t fly and how dangerous higher altitudes could be. Anyone has experience with this or can attest to this being a no-go??

I flew international round trips at least four times while pregnant with my first, including a massive transatlantic trip in second trimester and a final flight the very last allowable time at 34wks+5. Regardless of whether it's your first or your fifteenth, the only parts that matters are your fitness to travel and safety of your destination. Also check your airlines websites to see if they have any required extra documentation or doctor's notes depending on how far along you are. But regardless, a doctor's note saying you're fit to travel is good to have.

You can fly. The only thing you should be aware of is if the place you are flying is a medium or high risk Zika location.

I am 14 weeks pregnant flying today, then I will be flying to Rome when I am 16 weeks, then to Spain when I am 20 weeks and at 23 weeks I will be flying to Sant Francisco. You can fly, as long as your pregnancy is not high risk and your pysician approves. Just make sure you wear comfy clothes and socks and you walk during the flight as much as you can.

My mom moved to the states from Germany when she was like 26 weeks with me and I’m fine lol. I also have already flown at 6 and 8 weeks and will be flying at 13 and 14 as well as later at like 6 months. You’ll be fine. All docs and midwives so far have told me the same— drink water and don’t sit longer than 2 hours at a time. Even if you feel you can’t get up do some leg extensions in your seat etc. you’ll be fine:)

I've flown twice in early pregnancy domestically. 9 and 14 weeks. 
I will be traveling to Australia when I'm roughly 26 weeks and my dr gave me the green light. Just told me to drink lots of water and get up and walk every 2 hours. 
This is will be my first child.

So don’t fly international??
