He is poor

(I have grown up with so much money issues that I don't want to continue is that so bad? I understand that he is going to have money issues but I don't want to continue living in poverty for the rest of my life) So this I going to come off shallow but I want someone that is not broke and lives in a good neighborhood the guy I'm dating now is broke doesn't have any money and lives in a very bad neighborhood I don't feel safe going to his house. I have feelings of wanting to break up with him because of this and I feel so bad because of it I want someone that has a future wants to better themselves he didn't finish high school and I don't want us to suffer in the future if we get married.
