Traumatized

I’m 24 weeks with my first baby, he or she is becoming very active I can feel ALL the movements and it scares me every time.

Back in April ‘19 I had gallbladder surgery, my recovery was pretty bad. I had to have a T- Tube (drain) inserted in my abdomen to collect any bile or blood. I went in to get my drain removed along with stitches 12 days Post Op. The doctor told me it wasn’t going to hurt, all I had to do was take a deep breath and push like I’m taking a poop. While I was taking a deep breath and pushing she pulled the tube and it somehow got stuck, I could feel the tube unraveling in my belly with lots of pulling. We both got scared, but she reassured me it was almost out, we tried again and same thing happened, she ended up just tugging it out of me while I cried my eyes out 😭 It was the worst feeling ever!!!

Well now that I’m not feeling flutters anymore these are full on kicks and jabs it gives me anxiety every time he or she moves! It feels like the tube removal all over again 😭 im trying to enjoy the kicks and all but It’s traumatizing at the same time. Idk how I’ll get over this feeling.
