Steroid shots & umbilical cord flow
Yesterday I had to get a steroid shot and had to go back today to get the second round. The cord blood flow was not where they wanted it. It isn't absent of flow yet, but with the difference between the diastolic # and systolic # increasing I will have to be monitored even more closely. Therefore, I will now have to go to the high risk doctor every Monday and Thursday. If the blood flow stops or they start seeing backwards flow then I'll be admitted. Has anyone experienced this. How long did you carry your babies? Should I expect to deliver very soon? Thursday is also going to be a big day, because I'll have a fetal MRI that I've been waiting on as well as the ultrasound to check blood flow again!!
