Emotional abuse?

For years my husband has always told me he will do things, anything big and small, and he just doesn’t do it. Whenever i get upset/mad and ask why he doesn’t do anything he tells me he will do, he just says “i don’t know” ..he just puts it off and it just seems he doesn’t care..it pisses me off and makes me just want to walk out because he is all words...he has put us in financial stress MANY times because of this. He doesn’t do things he is supposed to in regards to waking up on time, taking care of our toddler or the dogs when i’m not home, and work. He makes so many promises of change and i just don’t see it.

He made an appointment with a therapist a month ago and didn’t mention it to his new boss so now he can’t go and who knows if he will be able to get an appointment any time soon..obviously it wasn’t important enough to mention..

Please, give me advise if any of yall have been through this before! I am going insane!
