Rent/Math help😂😂

Okay so I’m gonna start out with saying I’m 18, this is my first time renting a place. Okay so we agreed to half utilities with our landlords, and we’ve been in and out of jobs but they’ve been working with us. So they say we owe $1,358.02 but this month we’ve made 4 payments - $401, $135, $60, then another $400 a day after paying them the $60. I think I’m doing my math wrong because when I add up those payments it comes to $1,296 and I subtract that from $1,358 and i get $62.02

Can someone please explain/help?? I’ve never been good at math🤦🏻‍♀️ no rude comments please.
