Tips on how to deal with a jealous dog?

My baby is a week old, and my dogs are used to getting a lot of attention. I still give them some, but a majority is given to my baby. Any tips on helping my dogs understand they’re still loved without them trying to take baby’s place?

It’ll just take some time...when baby is napping give them extra cuddles! They’ll adjust and will love the baby!!

When you're doing things for baby, changing, putting down to sleep, give the dogs a treat so they associate baby with rewards. I haven't tried this but plan to when our baby comes (fur mom of one needy husky mix here).

I believe it just takes time! They’ll eventually adjust. It’s basically like changing their day to day schedule. It’ll take some time but they’ll get over it soon lol

Don’t disrupt their entire life, they hurt too. 
Just like your sitting with them both in the photo here, give your dogs the attention they got before. Life doesn’t stop just when someone has a baby. I hate when people use that as their excuse for why their pet got fat from lack of exercise because “baby came”. Ok, baby’s napping? Give your attention to the first baby you had. Don’t push it to the back burner because don’t forget in all the rush of a new baby, that pets don’t live long...and you are their only excitement in life. A baby does not replace a pet, and the people who give away pets when baby comes are not my kind of people. Your fur baby will adjust, just give it attention and time. Best of luck.
