Becoming New Parents
My husband and I have been married for almost two years, both doing excellent in our own careers, we have a wonderful dog and are currently house searching. We both agreed that once we get a house we’d start to try to conceive. I’m anxious but in a good way!
My question though: for those of you that are working parents, what advice do you have for parents that also work? I make more money than my husband and both of our health benefits are pretty good compared to what’s out there. He has even said he’d gladly become a stay at home dad since I can cover our expenses.
Bringing a child into this world is not a light decision. What helped you and your partner overcome the stresses of this new joy? I know every situation is different but for those of you that gave birth, what were/are needs that the other parent can support with?
